You can skip this if your current version is not 2.1.44, 2.1.55 or 2.1.56.
IMPORTANT
Microsoft changed its virus detection table on December 4th causing a case of false detection in our GTN750 package v2.1.44, v2.1.55, v2.1.56
. This may break your aircraft avionics including some other gauges.
We assure you that the code does not contain any virus and that it is indeed a case of false detection. Only windows defender detects it.
GTN750 new version 2.1.57 fixes the false positive virus detection. Thank you to update to the latest version if you get the defender issue.
Because Windows keeps traces of previous detections, be sure to follow this procedure:
Update windows defender
Delete the previous GTN750 package from your community folder and maybe from your download folder if still here.
Scan with defender.
If you still have issues, ask defender to repair by removing affected files (important)
Rescan, should be clear.
Download and install the latest package (v2.1.57 minimum) in your community folder.
Re-ask for a scan, should be clear.
