Compatibility
Our GTN750 product is compatible with MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.
The same package can be installed on both platforms. The GTN750 automatically detects the MSFS version and loads the correct Working Title SDK according to it.
However, you can get a compatibility issue with some aircraft made for MSFS 2020 and running on MSFS 2024. This is especially true for the ones using the Working Title G3X.
With the G3X, we are checking the SDK compatibility and warn you if it’s not compatible. To fix it, you can force the SDK version from the GTN750 options page. The SDK version to be used is saved as a persistent variable at the aircraft level.
License
If you already own a license for MSFS 2020, you can use it on MSFS 2024 without any upgrade fee but not at the same time.
You should first deactivate the license on one side before activating it on the other side. Otherwise, you will get a site_inactive error because your license is linked to a unique MSFS installation (site).
Deactivation can be done from the GTN750 license setup page or from your PMS50 account. See the manual chapter license deactivation/reactivation.
You don’t have to re-enter the license when deactivation/reactivating. Entering the license is a one time operation.
Of course you can always buy a second license if you don’t want to swap it.
