Compatibility
We provide some specific packages for MSFS 2020 and MSFSF 2024.
The GTN750 for MSFS 2024 works only on MSFS 2024.
The GTN750 for MSFS 2020 works on both MSFS 2020 and MSFS2024. However, if you want to take advantage of the 2024 feature (ex EFB flight plan synchronization), you should install the 2024 package.
Working Title created a new framework for MSFS2024 and a new version of their Garmin instruments (V2).
As far as we have tested, you should not have any compatibility issues with these instruments’ V1 or V2 versions.
The only exception is for aircraft using the WT G3X V1 (the one for 2020) and a GTN750 for MSFS 2024 as an external navigator.
In this situation, the autopilot may not work correctly (ex no NAV in GPS mode). You can fix that in 2 ways:
- use the GTN750 for MSFS 2020 instead of the package for 2024. You will then lose the EFB flight plan synchronization.
- modify the panel.cfg file of the aircraft manually by pointing the G3X towards the V2 version (recommended).
Here is an example in the panel.cfg that points to the G3X V1 version:

And the way to make it point to the V2 version:

So you only have to change “G3XTouch/” to “G3XTouchv2”.
Asobo added locking for some package files in 2024 edition. This may prevent some WTT additional packages from working as expected.
We hope Asobo fixes this issue that breaks the compatibility of 2020 packages.
License
If you already own a license for MSFS 2020, you can use it on MSFS 2024 without any upgrade fee but not at the same time.
You should first deactivate the license on one side before activating it on the other side. Otherwise, you will get a site_inactive error because your license is linked to a unique MSFS installation (site).
Deactivation can be done from the GTN750 license setup page or from your PMS50 account. See the manual chapter license deactivation/reactivation.
You don’t have to re-enter the license when deactivation/reactivating. Entering the license is a one time operation.
Of course you can always buy a second license if you don’t want to swap it.
